Why are you in the finance industry?
I sometimes enjoy crunching numbers and problem solving, which is why I chose a career in the finance industry. I’ve been in the industry for eight years, and I’ve worked on everything from client applications to portfolio reporting and admin support. It’s rewarding to know that what I do is part of helping clients make better financial choices for themselves and their families.
What do you do outside of work?
I’m a social introvert, so I enjoy quiet time at home like reading, watching movies or series, and learning new things online that catch my interest. I get my social time when I hang out with friends, go hiking or camping, and attend events to meet new people.
I love learning new things at work that expand my knowledge in financial planning. Some days can be a bit mundane, but I appreciate how the team makes work feel engaging and supportive. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. It’s such a nice place to work!
